"Stair inside the room that can directly goto the other room without door/gate. Feel not safe if stranger live downstair, also not safe if young kids walking around. The toilet without any ventilation fan, make it a bit smelly. Parking area is not big enough for 2 car, maybe is the parking instruction not show clearly how to park the car. The instruction should show how two car parking in the parking area. This house better for those who only need sleep."

"The Gondola Chalet was the perfect place for my group snowboarding at Grand Hirafu. Easy to find and check in. The chalets are walking distance to the King Gondola. So easy to get to the mountain first thing in the morning. The chalets have a great view, lots of room, very clean and everything you’ll need in the kitchen. "We were surprised to not find a closet in the room but instead a coat rack with hangers. The hotel did not have a luggage rack and expected us to open our suitcases on the floor. After some discussion, they brought in a table for our cases. There was only one pillow per person on the bed which is unusual these days. The room decor felt dated and in need of a major furniture overhaul, in spite of the grandiose impression of the exterior. These were the negatives but the positives were the bright breakfast room with its hard working staff. Also, a thank you to Kamul for translating for us from English to Japanese to the other hotel staff and for his restaurant recommendations."
