Fantastic place for family and friends gathering, situated in a quiet cull-de-sac. \[ Great Place for entertaining family & friends, we can make special arrangements for vacationers, ask management \]. Three large bedrooms suites plus two small bed rooms, with TV, phone, and internet. Sleeps 16 people and sit out area with 3 1/2 baths with one duplex bath. Large gourmet kitchen, breakfast area, refrigerator, two ovens with food warmers and microwave, and grand dining room. Great family room with attached library stocked plenty of book. Spacious Master bath with large indoor Jacuzzi, out door hot tub for 8 guests, massage table, and exercise room. Sweedish Sauna large group with attached shower. Pool table in the game room. Three wood burning fireplaces with plenty of firewood stock. Large sit out deck of the living room and all five bedrooms. Out side charcoal & gas Barbecue grill and inside the kitchen electric Barbecue is provided. Fifteen minutes to Mt. Hood Ski Area. Several hiking trails and half a mile to salmon river. This property is located on the east side of eighteen hole golf course and fine dining restaurant is half a mile and one mile to post office, grocery, bars, pizza place and several restaurants.. Thirty minutes Columbia river and scenic gorge. Its only one hour drive to Portland International Airport and shopping. Not only is it in the beautiful forest land east of Portland, but the house itself is wild! Very large, many beds and bedrooms, and every room has its own character. It can host large groups very comfortably. The hot tub works great, there's even a pool table in the lower level.The host was fantastic, and extremely kind, and well communicated. When an issue arose that was completely outside of everyone's control, they were responsive, helpful, and very understanding in their helping us! It gave us good flexibility.The kitchen is very large with plenty of everything you need for meal prep. Tons of dishes. Two ovens.There were multiple large couches in the living room with a large screen TV. Ample room to relax.Those who enjoy a sauna enjoyed the sauna.The dishwasher was coming loose and tipping out when it was loaded. When I notified the owner they were going to send a repair person immediately -- which I appreciated. We brought our kids and grandkids to Mt Hood to try snowboarding for the first time after Christmas. There are 15 of us so finding a place large enough, nice enough, and available for just 2 nights was a challenge. Exec in Foothills came through for us and we had a blast! The home is large, well appointed, very comfortable. There was plenty of parking for our 5 rigs. Our hosts were a most gracious and welcoming family, they made all of us feel comfortable right away. ##### Brenda C. I have rented a lot of vacation homes and this one is an original. The owners met me on site as I was checking in and showed me around, which was helpful because of all the little nuances in the house. For me, the overall size of the house was what originally attracted me to it, but I hope to rent this one again. The house is huge with lots of room to spread out. It is located about 15 minutes from Ski bowl and all its activities. There is also a Thriftway very close by and we enjoyed the local pizza place as well. The kitchen is equipped very well with lots of dishes, pots, pans, and anything else you might need. The house does show some wear and tear and would probably benefit from some updates, but overall it is very comfortable and you can tell the owners put a lot of themselves into it. ##### Kathleen H. Worst vacation experience of my life. House was disgustingly dirty: stains and burn spots all over the carpets, animal hair (probably dog or cat) on furniture and bed, stains on sinks and showers, old cloths in the laundry, dirty kitchen and dirty kitchen appliances, parts of the kitchen tables were broken, dish washer was falling out of its place, the refrigerator didn't work well and all our food was spoiled, storage door broken and when we tried to open it it fell on my friend's shoulder injurying him, house heater didnt work well and it was freezing, there was no hot water to take a shower, the back yard was all torn and muddy so couldn't even go back there but owner didnt leave us a key for the front door so had to go in and out of the back through the muddy backyard. Rather have slept in my car than that house. Way too disgusting. Not worth paying a $1 for this junk of a place called a vacation home. I would give negative 100 stars if possible. ##### Vache S.
