"Nice room and super comfy beds. The hotel itself is nice and the gym is great but the hotel location is off a frontage road which was not walkable to surrounding restaurants etc "

"We booked here for an anniversary trip. We were greeted on arrival and got checked in. We were disappointed to be given a room with the elevator directly outside our door. Despite being there Tues-Fri, it was a high traffic area and we listened to the elevator ding well into the evening while trying to sleep. It was a spacious room with separate bedroom and sitting area which was nice. The bed was quite comfortable but the outlets in the room didn’t work, particularly the bedside ones which meant we couldn’t use the lamp or charge phones on the nightstand. Other elements of the hotel were visibly worn including badly water damaged bathroom door and walls. Water pressure was too poor to wash hair. By far the most notable element of our stay was that our 7th floor room had an abundance of roaches. When we shared this with the staff they said they would let their manager know but we received no follow up. When we checked out, we reiterated this issue and did not receive so much as an apology and they barely acknowledged we had said anything. Because of the roach issue, we declined to take advantage of the breakfast beyond a cup of coffee. There was ample parking in the underground garage and that was convenient. "

"I wanted to love my stay here because the staff is wonderful, but the physical state of the hotel made it very difficult to be comfortable. Here is the breakdown of my 3-day experience: The Positives Professional Staff: The team here is excellent. Every interaction I had with the staff was professional, polite, and helpful. They are clearly doing their best with what they have. Cleanliness: No complaints regarding housekeeping. The room was well-kept and clean upon arrival. The Realities of an Aging Facility While the service is high-quality, the building itself is showing significant age and a lack of updates. Poor Sleep Quality: The bed was incredibly noisy and squeaked every time I moved. Worse, the mattress provided zero support, leading to a very restless night's sleep. Plumbing Issues: The water pressure at the vanity was nonexistent. Instead of a steady flow, the faucet only produced a slow drip, making basic hygiene tasks frustrating. No Hot Water: During my 3-day stay, the facility had no hot water for 2 days during the daytime. While I understand that maintenance is sometimes necessary, having no hot water for most of a trip is a major dealbreaker. Final Verdict The "Hyatt Place" name usually carries a standard of reliability, but this specific location feels neglected. Until the hotel undergoes a serious renovation—specifically regarding the plumbing and bedding—I would recommend looking at other options in the North Dallas/Galleria area."

"We stayed in a very clean, comfortable room. However, there was a soccer children's event going on. There was loudness of kids up to around 12:00 on our hall."

"VERY clean room & breakfast area! Staff was great! EXCEPT when I went to check out, there was NO ONE at the Front Desk or in the Office for about 15 minutes. I needed a *printed* receipt, but was unable to obtain one at this time, because I had an appointment to be at. I had to phone in later in the day and have them e-mail me one. "
