"This is a beautiful & spacious vacation rental with extremely comfortable beds! Fabulous beach and swimming area though the green plastic chairs/loungers need to be replaced as they are busted and do not work well. The deck has a broken board piece that could be hazardous to little ones or even adults if they stepped wrong and though it is not a very large hole it really needs to be fixed. The Blackstone was awesome, however when we looked in the 'green egg' it had not been cleaned and had mold growing inside. The kayaks and paddle boat were very nice to have use of though we had to duct tape one of the oars as it was broken. Internet was good up until Saturday when it did not work at all. The surge tank got maxed out and we had no water for a time - with the volume of people the rental can accommodate perhaps the surge tank should be upgraded or at least a notice to renters that they need to be aware of the water usage during showers, etc. We wish we had brought our own chairs and swim floaties perhaps a suggestion for renters to bring those could be included so people are aware to do so in advance. The billiard and ping pong tables were a plus. Of course the use of a pontoon or boat would have been awesome even with an upcharge. We would definitely recommend staying here and we would definitely go back!!"

"Our week in Park Rapids frequently involved unexpected changes involving our stay at the Heartland Inn and through it all the front desk staff was outstanding in helping work with our changing needs. We were very thankful for their friendly, professional service. Next time we are in Park Rapids we will look no further than The Heartland Inn."
