"Wonderful location for hiking, sightseeing, or just enjoying a coffee while listening to birds. Well stocked with everything you’d need for cooking and close to several different stores/towns. As mentioned the pull out isn’t the most comfortable but there are plenty of other options from the loft to the inflatable mattress. Highly recommended if you enjoy hiking or canoeing given the proximity to there park and Mohican Adventures."

"This hotel is the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. It has been there several years and it looks brand new. The staff was excellent (Tangy the day shift front desk person was awesome and very helpful). Also the the evening shift guy was very helpful and was busy every time I saw him) Great hotel and we will stay there again"

"Everything was great. The WIFI kept going in and out throughout the stay...don't know why. Hotel is close to great restaurants within easy walking distance to the square. Also the hotel is close to walking trail which was wonderful."

"The room was comfortable. It was clean. The old beat up chair took away from the updates that have been made. Although the balcony was nice, the loud and hot air conditioning unit took away from the ambiance. Breakfast was sooo fresh and tasty! The staff was very kind, responsive, and knowledgeable."

"We spent our anniversary here and enjoyed every minute of it. As soon as you step in the front door you feel as if you've stepped back in time. So if you enjoy old time feel then this is the place for you. Steeped in history you feel as if you are walking the halls of yesterday because you are walking the halls of yesterday. The Queen Victoria Room with its beautiful piano, gorgeous color scheme and parlor furniture makes you feel as if you traveled back in time of no T.V or cellphones and your all set for an evening around the piano or simply reading. The Lincoln Room with its amazing original tin walls and ceilings adds to the feel of yesteryear. The staff are amazing, helpful and super friendly. Factor in the Tavern with incredible food there in the hotel it made for a happy, relaxing and fun stay. You can tell that all the staff from the manager to the maids and folks working in the Tavern take great pride in the hotel. We stayed on the third floor that overlooked Main St. They also provide an in room fan since that floor has facility controlled cooling and heating so that was helpful. Loved our stay. We will be back."

"We loved it and wished we were staying longer than one night! We plan to go back and stay for a couple of nights because there are wonderful day trips within a 35-50 mile radius! The rooms are beautiful and the staff very friendly and very helpful. I LOVED the lemonade that they keep going throughout the day. Everything was soooooo clean!!! Don't hesitate choosing this place to stay."
