However, the very presented indoor feature of the jet-tub was not functioning; the button you use to activate the jets was broken and it was never mentioned. The towels not being in the bathrooms, or at least hand towels, was odd. We pulled in, needed the bathroom; no towels. The towels being in baskets in the bedrooms, while it looked nice, it was inconvenient. It also claims to have 'small trails' but they were just tiny paths around the property and one of them was blocked off by downed trees. And the porch view of the pond is mostly blocked by trees; there's only one corner on the upper porch to view the pond. BUT it was otherwise beautiful and we really did enjoy our time. The house was made by hand as a labor of love and you can tell. It is beautiful inside and outside. It is peaceful and quiet. We love the big kitchen. We could cook, play games, chat and just enjoy our time together. We couldn't have been more pleased with our choice for a wonderful family reunion. The mattresses could you a little updating. Pictures of cabin are exactly how it is! Beautiful home, beautiful location, amazing time had by all! We especially loved having the pond and spent hours fishing! We had a great time this weekend celebrating my dad’s 60th! The cabin far exceeded our expectations in every category. It was clean and cozy and well-stocked with everything we needed to grill and cook meals. The beds are super comfortable and there were plenty of towels provided. The fire pit was awesome with plenty of wood and campfire essentials available along with comfy chairs. There were several options for outdoor seating to enjoy the calm and quiet and also plenty of indoor seating at the long dining table perfect for (large) family meals and board games. We had so much fun feeding the fish in the pond too. (Thank you for providing food!). The hosts have thought of everything and then some and were so kind.
