"Hotel facility itself was pretty standard and nothing to write home about; however, the room was basically a furnished apartment. Pretty amazing for the price. The room was very quiet too—so quiet that I was shocked to see the breakfast room completely full in the morning. I was sure there were no other guests besides me. If I were staying any longer than a day or two in Ottawa, this would be the place I'd try to go. Complimentary breakfast was terrible, but hey, I had a fridge and a stove in my room...not taking advantage of that was on me."

"First of all, Fairmont are always top-notch destinations. This one is no exception. You may save a a few dollars staying at a lesser hotel or slightly out of the hub of activity, great restaurants, the Canal, ByWard market however that gap will close quickly with the amount of money you will spend on Uber or driving around where staying here all you need to do is walk to the great spots. Weather be sightseeing at Parliament or hitting all the great restaurants just walk out the front door!"

"Overall we were very happy with our stay. Rooms were very clean and beds very comfortable. Staff was great and extremely helpful. The parking garage had a strong smell , not sure what it was but otherwise parking was very handy and appreciated. The breakfast was very good. Really enjoyed the oatmeal :)"

"The hotel is centerally located and you can easily walk to points of interest. The rooms were spacious , comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet had lots of options to choose from. I felt safe, you needed to swipe room key to engage the elevators."
