Amazing place

We realized in the evening that the bathroom had a leak under the floor and water was all over the floor with water dripping from the upper level to the kitchen and dinner area on the lower level. I called to move to another unit but was told nothing can be done. The next morning when I spoke with the staff again I was told the engineering team will assess the situation. The solution offered was to fix the leak, add fans to dry the place and leave us in that unit! It took the entire day of negotiations with the management to finally get us out of the wet villa into a new one. Rather than reimburse the night that we spent with wet floors we were told nothing can be done. The area is gorgeous and the location is great but the staff is terrible in terms of customer service.

My best hotel stay ever. Every detail was thought of and executed!

A little slice of heaven in such a magical place. We even saw Humpback whales from our balcony.

I really can't say enough about this lovely inn. Updated, spotless room, quaint atmosphere and wonderful location at Carmel-by -the - Sea for starters. Add in a fresh home cooked breakfast and a wine hour with charcuterie and let's just say it was a dellightful stay.
