There is even a bidet (which we did not try). Providing a welcome basket of snacks was a nice touch. There were also teabags and a stocked Keurig coffeemaker. The neighborhood was quiet with easy street parking right in front.We knew the rest of the house was occupied by tenants, but we were surprised just how much noise we heard. Running water and equipment, voices, and sounds of cooking, kids running, and even playing fetch indoors with a dog that scrabbled across the floor, as if there were just a thin door separating our spaces. Maybe others won't be as sensitive to the noise as we were. And noise was not an issue in the bedrooms.The kitchen island allows knee space for just two people to sit at it on stools. We would have liked a small table and chairs - even folding ones - so that three of us could have eaten a meal together comfortably.The shower is an overhead rain shower. We could tell there was once a shower spray attachment too, but it was missing when we stayed, which makes showering difficult for anyone who does not want to get their hair wet. There were plenty of fluffy white towels.It's a very cute and comfortable place to stay and super clean. They obviously attempted to think of everything a group may need when visiting with some little surprise perks as well. Very quiet neighborhood, a bit off the beaten path. I don’t think you could walk to anything but close to everything in Langford by car. The house itself was clean and well-organized, which made settling in quite easy. The area was quiet and peaceful, perfect for relaxation. However, the beds were on the firmer side, which might not suit everyone's preferences for comfort. Additionally, the internet connection was somewhat unreliable, with spotty coverage at times.
