« The owner was very attentive and helpful with all of our requests. He was truly thankful for us staying at the Inn. The Inn was nicely decorated and full of history which was shared throughout. The outside area was inviting with different seating options from couches to tables and chairs to Adirondack chairs under a tree and by the river. There was also a 2 seater swing. « Pretty good sleep. Super quiet despite being on top of the Tavern. Comfortable beds and linens. Only discomfort is that it was a bit warm in the evening and they was no AC we could find. Opening the window helped. »

« South Shire is a beautiful place filled with history and character. The staff were wonderful; kind and attentive. They were welcoming to us and our pup throughout the stay. We were very happy with the quality of the mattress and linens as well as the ac being nice and cold on a very hot day (not always things you find in an older bed and breakfast.) We would absolutely stay here again. »
