Breakfast was good. Only problem was when we checked in slightly late they put us in a very small and distasteful room and the next morning I had to ask to be switched into the double room I had originally paid for. Watch out for that. Otherwise I had a good time.

There was a lift to floor two, and then 10 stairs down, lots of turns and two staircases up to get to the room. Awkward. I’m recovering from a hip operation so has lots of stairs. ( my fault I hadn’t told them this) Breakfast was not worth visiting. Coffee from the machine was not drinkable. Juice was not fresh (canned?), no fruit, no provision for none cheese/ meat eaters. Room was nicely decorated, good views of clock tower and over roofs out of windows. A little dated in the bathroom with v small shower but it did the job. Very central location, noisy as you’d expect which was part of the atmosphere. Location was key for the price.

Very central location which is great for walking to key sights, though it can be very busy! Also means it can be quite loud outside at night. Hotel was clean and staff were great. Nice little bar to the side that’s part of the hotel. Continental breakfast was just enough every morning. Room decor was beautiful.

Love the location of the place , had a beautiful apartment two streets away from St Marks Square. Nice simple breakfast was also included, great way to start the morning. We were checking out at 4 am ,to catch an 8am flights back to NY , so 24/7 front desk is also great . Absolutely love our stay in Venice, thanks to the hotel stuff for making it flawless.

Great location as a home base to visit Venice for a few days. It's an old building with lots of character, wonderful staff, beautiful details, just abit more than a hostel and way more privacy, best location too. Highly recommend to solo or couple travelers as well.

Location was excellent, right on St Mark's Square, we booked our hotel at Antico Panada, however at our arrival they sent us to another hotel in the corner, with no elevator access to our room, we have to use the stairs which was inconvenience, especially for people with knee issues, it was not explained to use, also the hotel where they sent to us, seems to be falling apart, breakfast was just ok, the only good thing was the location.

They sent us to a room overlooking San Marco plaza and with a spectacular view of the Basilica. Breakfast was a real mess time. All guests were trying to get something and all the set up was installed in a small room and the options were limited. Air conditioning was okay in the bedroom. However, in the hall and stairs it wasn’t and that made it hardest by the time you arrived at your bedroom you were all sweaty.

Overall, we were very satisfied with this hotel. Front desk staff was professional, polite, courteous and helpful. Cleaning staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was good and staff kept the area well organized and maintained. This hotel's location is perfect, especially for the Piazza San Marco area. Close to many amenities. The only drawback we experienced was the lack of air conditioning. It was not working in our room. Otherwise, a great stay at this hotel.

We stayed for 2 nights and the location was fantastic. It made our trip incredibly convenient, and we were able to come back and rest during the day whenever we wanted. By simply turning right after leaving the hotel, we were almost immediately at St. Mark’s Square. In terms of comfort and cleanliness, we initially thought everything was fine. However, on our last morning, I found a bed bug in the bed after waking up, and I believe I was bitten multiple times during my stay. I think this is an issue that should be looked into and addressed to prevent future guests from experiencing the same problem.
