The hotel is surrounded by rice terraces and has a peaceful atmosphere. The hotel is not flashy, but it is simple and has the minimum facilities, so you won't have any problems. It is about a 10-minute walk to the city center, but it is a perfect hotel for a relaxing stay.

Beautiful villa, comfortable beds and nice quiet location but still close to the Main Street of Ubud. 24/7 motorbike ride was fun. The only negative thing was breakfast serving time was really slow took almost an hour.

The staff were awesome and the villa is well situated with rice fields surrounding it. Be prepared for the motorcycle shuttle service and you will have an awesome time. Ubud and surrounds was only needing a few days ( for our personal liking) … we definitely enjoyed our stay in the area and at the Masia Villa.

We enjoyed our stay and the staff were very helpful especially with the free transport to city center. The private villa we stayed at could have a better door lock instead of a padlock and wooden stick from the inside. The rooms could use some up keep but overall we had a nice stay.

The property is good and offers a serene wholesome experience. The staff was good and fresh food. During our stay- the staff mentioned they ran out of ingredients/ food/ as basic as rice. They intend to buy supplies next day. The property had most rooms occupied- which should tell them how much supplies they need to have for those days. We had small kids and elder parents with us- and we had to scramble to find apps that would deliver food to us and at that remote location. It was inconvenient and not expected at a hotel.

Location is ok. Not far away from the Ubud centre but bikes and walking are only option to access there. There are only two transportation options to access there. By bikes or walking. If you don’t mind 10-15 mins walk, this villa is a good place to stay.

We had to book with Masia last minute after an unfavorable experience with Prashanti Ubud, and were relieved to have comfortable, clean rooms out in the rice paddies. The shower/bath area is outside and absolutely serene. Keep in mind you have some roosters as neighbors! Breakfast was served fresh and fast to order, and scooter transport is available upon request to get to the main streets of Ubud in under five minutes. The staff are friendly and attentive. We also did their laundry service which was delivered the next morning in great condition and made packing our bags a breeze. Recommend this stay as a peaceful place away from the bustle of Ubud while keeping a close proximity to the city's activities.

Cadre magnifique et calme absolu

Hôtel au centre d'Ubud, à proximité des centres d'intérêt mais retiré de la route principale ce qui assure une tranquillité absolue avec vue sur des rizières. Cet hôtel allie le combo parfait si vous voulez effectuer des activités mais avoir des moments de calme une fois rentrés à l'hébergement. Attention toutefois, cet hôtel n'est pas accessible en voiture. L'équipe de la réception assure les transferts entre l'hôtel et le centre en scooter... ou alors, vous pouvez marcher, cela vous prendra 15 min environ (si comme nous, vous avez un enfant de 3 ans, sinon seulement 10). Bien que le fait de mettre son enfant de 3 ans sur un scooter peut être déconcertant, le trajet entre l'hôtel et le centre ne se fait pas sur la route mais uniquement sur le chemin inaccessible aux voitures. Seuls les 2 roues et les piétons l'emprunte donc c'est plus rassurant. Malgré ce détail, je recommande vivement cet hôtel.

Mysigt hotell ute bland risfälten. Ingen bilväg utan man blev hämtad med moped. Personalen körde och hämtade med moped ner till Ubud på ett par minuter när man bad dem. Nackdel var att det saknades resturang och bar.

Le lieu se situe au bout d'une voie où les voitures ne passent pas. Il faut donc impérativement circuler en scooter depuis la rue principale. Ce n'est pas un inconvénient sauf si, comme nous, vous avez 3 enfants et ne circulez pas en scooter mais en voiture. Le personnel est cependant toujours disponible pour vous amenez en scooter à la route principale (et venir vous y récupérer). Ce qui implique de laisser vos enfants (et vous même) sur des scooters, sans casques... on a vu mieux, niveau sécurité. Les logements sont vieillissant et abîmés (débats des eaux qui ont abîmé les murs), la piscine privée attenante à notre villa de 2 chambres etait très bien mais les abords ne sont pas très agréables (2 trappes techiniques en fer, rouillées, donnant sur des vides sanitaires sont juste à côté des 2 transats). Le petit déjeuner inclus est ok mais attention si vous demandez une tranche de pain supplémentaire vous serez facturé. Le point positif est la vue: sur des rizières. Paisibles. Joli. Mais attention aux bruits d'insectes (grillons, lezards sur rampent sur la toiture) et d'animaux (vaches et coqs qui crient à 5h du matin en août). Cela ne a pas dérangé mais sachez-le si vous êtes sensibles au bruit. Pour le prix, je passerai mon chemin.

Flott område, litt upraktisk tilgjengelighet, men fortsatt sentralt. Man får til gjengjeld en litt roligere nattesøvn. De burde opplyse om at det ikke går an å kjøre bil helt frem. Kjempefine, enkle rom og flott bad! Men, det er veldig lytt mellom rommene. Bra service og god frokost! Vil ikke anbefale massasje på rommet ettersom de ikke har massasjebord med hodestøtte, man må ligge på sengen. Ellers flott opphold!

Super location, surrounded by ricefields yet only15 min walk to the center of Ubud. Staff is friendly and helpful with everything. The towels and bedsheet were a bit smelly and had stains even after replacement. Furthermore the hotels didn't reply 2 emails about transfer from airport to hotel.

ウブドらしい田んぼの景色が広がる部屋で、星やホタルが見られてとても良かったです。ウブドでのんびりしたい人にはオススメです。 中心地から歩いて15分ほどかかりますが、お願いすればスタッフの方がバイクで送迎してくれるので不便はなかったです。 朝食も部屋まで運んでくれるし、露天のシャワーとバスタブが部屋についているし、スタッフの方は皆さんとても感じがよいし、大満足でした。

The accommodation is far from the center of Ubud as the website states. We messaged and called them several times. They never answered and replied. If you are looking for a horrible stay, you just found the right place.

車で行けないホテルです

ホテル自体は良い。スタッフの対応もとてもいい。車で行けない事が明記されていなかったのが非常に残念。立地の悪さを納得した上で泊まるのであれば、とてもいいホテルです。夜、大雨の中ウブド中心部までバイクで迎えに来てくれたスタッフの方にはとても感謝しました。口コミでは部屋で朝食を取れるとの事だったのにレストランで朝食だった事も少し残念でしたが朝食はメニューが選べ大変美味しかったです。

Nice retreat in the heart of Ubud

My husband and I stayed 4 nights at Masia. We were very comfortable and our villa was large and clean. The service was very good, and the staff was always cheerful and willing to help us with anything needed. The location was nice and quiet in the rice fields, but only a short 5 minute moto ride down to the main Street in Ubud. The restaurant was also very good. We'd happily stay again.
