Cedar Breaks Lodge
3.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (1006)
"They were doing summer maintenance on the property but didn't hinder any of our stay. It is a winter resort, so maintenance needs to be done during this time. The staff were very attentive to our needs and kept us appraised of any work they were doing. All of our needs were met. A great place to stay. "

"Our room had 3 queen size beds that were adequately comfortable and a large 70” LED TV. The bathroom was descent and had all of the necessary amenities. The only issue we had was the air conditioning was very weak. We had the thermostat set at the lowest temp and none of us were comfortable during our stay. We all slept with only a sheet. "

"Completely charming - the intangible quality that gets it to 5 stars for us! Loved the retro feel which was not manufactured in the least - more like...preserved? We took a cross-country road trip in 1994 as broke newlyweds, and this is exactly the type of motel that would have been a diamond in the rough on our budget back then - clean, spacious room, full of character and a working ice machine. Don't expect fancy, but the Bryce Zion Inn is a very cool, old-school motel, which we'll take...

"Rustic type of lodging. Nestled into evergreens on a hillside. Inside the room was cozy and rustic. We were on the end of the hotel so we had a great view out our big window and back window of the forest. In the evening and morning we could sit on the balcony and watch the world drive-by from above. "

Aspen Cove resort

"We came to stay one night. We did not know there was no heat and with the temperature in the 30s that was kind of a big deal. The room did have a space heater which was helpful and we had inadvertently brought some blankets which also helped but having that statement on the website should be standard especially for this time of year. It was a cute place and fairly clean. No great sheets on the bed. Other people’s hair in my bed. Kind of gross. Bathroom was clean. It was okay. Just okay. "

"We had booked a double queen and they upgraded us for free to a spacious suite with 3 queens. Very friendly staff. It is not fancy, but we loved the laminate floors- so much better than carpet, thoughtful convenience of luggage racks and a table…. Highly recommend this place! They also own Color country across the street-not quite as nice, but clean and our really late check in experience after car break down was awesome!"

"We loved and enjoyed the entire place, very comfortable, great layout, great amenities, great kitchen and bathrooms, great communication with Stephanie. The only issue was the couches - they are obviously very old and unfortunately they smell old. Nothing personal but I avoided sitting on them. "

"When I checked in he took my credit card to charge for incidentals and I just made sure that he wasn't charging my credit card. He then made this really weird comment and said he's not charging for incidentals, but "most hotels do that." I have never heard of a hotel charging for incidentals so that was a weird comment he made to me. I would pay a little extra and not stay here if I were you. It's a good place to rest your head, but I wouldn't come back here."
