"I only gave it 5 stars because nobody reads the 2-star reviews, which is what I would have given this hotel. You walk into the "lobby" and see all these "awards" on the wall and start to think that the 1960s-esque exterior is just a facade. Wrong. We got to the room, and it was like a studio apartment. Well, more like a studio of a studio apartment. Somehow, it seemed smaller than a Motel 6. The bed was meh. The pillows were BABY-sized pillows (seriously. They looked like little throw pillows from a couch.) You couldn't open the bathroom door all the way because the sink was in the way. The TV was about a 24" TV that was much too small to really see well while laying in bed. If you sat on the foot end of the bed, well, it was better. Our keys didn't work when we first arrived. Neither one. The room also smelled like cat pee, so we had to open the window for a couple of hours to try to get the smell out of there. It was nigh impossible to make a left-hand turn out of the parking lot due to the amount of traffic on the highway next to the hotel, which made a lot of noise. Anyway, I wouldn't stay here again. For what I paid for the place, I expected better than this."

"The property was lovely, very dog friendly. They opened the swimming pool for my kids early in the am. We were there during posted hours but apparently they were going to open an hour later. They let us in. I would have liked to skimmed the pool a little with a net. Hot tub was nice perk. The walkway behind or in front of the hotel was a hidden gem. "

"Stayed 2 nights if a 9 night trip. Third Hampton Inn stay of those nights. Always find them clean, updated and includes breakfast which the grandsons really enjoyed. We all loved the waffle maker. Good value overall. "
