« We had a short trip to The Silos, Magnolia Market and Magnolia Table . The house is very close to all theses and Baylor University as well. The house is beautiful, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are comfortable and there are plenty of towels, fans for each bedroom and kitchen supplies. The check out procedure was simple. We would definitely stay here again. »

« What a beautiful home and what wonderful hosts! The house is a quaint and classic representation of what homes used to be but very beautifully updated. The property was very well cleaned and communication with the host was spectacular. We were in the area for 5 nights and we enjoyed every minute of it. The location is also a plus. It is very close to the grocery store and easily accessible to anything else you may need. »

« Great property- nestled back within a cozy group of trees, feels like you’re on your own little retreat. Everything was clean and thought out- we cooked a big birthday dinner for one of our guests and had everything we needed- really a great trip. A small trek into Waco, but worth it. « We have stayed at the Joy House several times and always find it comfortable, clean, and convenient. Also, the manager is very helpful and easy to reach. The Joy House is a few minutes from Downtown and Baylor, which results in great restaurants and shopping. When we want to go downtown, it’s only 10-15 minutes. Our Bella loves it, too, for the fenced back yard. »

« This was a great house for our visit to some family in the area. Quiet, clean and comfortable. All the expected amenities to make our stay pleasant. There were only three of us so there was the right amount of dishes for us but if you have a larger party you would have to mix and match to have plates and bowls. »

« Lovely home but lacking some of the expected necessities. There were not enough towels in the house for the number of people the house says it sleeps. ZERO wash cloths or dish cloths. No hand soap or dish detergent. Shower curtain liner in 2nd bath needs to be changed. Other wise this is a lovely home!!!! »
