Room was clean. Bedding was not put on correctly and a little torn. Pillows were not good. King size room was small, but fine for 2 people. The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. There is plenty of shopping in the area and places to eat. Newk's Eatery was very good.

Hotel room was clean and simple. No frills. It was adequate for a one night stay. Wish the soap/shampoo/lotion dispensers were full. There was a strobing fire alarm light in the ceiling that was visible when all the lights were off. Wish the shower head was better. Bed was comfortable. Easy check in & check out. Breakfast was not a bonus. Coffee was empty. Just all in all “okay” for the money.

Booked our room with two beds. Was told the “3rd party” I used booked a one bed handicap. They then said that was all that was available. We paid extra for the two beds. Breakfast they ran out of coffee. Very little food and what there was … was cold. No eggs ! No Orange juice

I would give zero stars if I could. I came down with COVID right before my trip and reached out to Tru by Hilton to cancel my reservation for the safety of everyone involved. Despite explaining that I was sick, contagious, and physically unable to travel, they flat-out refused to cancel or refund my stay. To make things worse, they had the audacity to send me an email saying they hope I enjoyed my stay—knowing full well I never even checked in. It’s extremely disappointing that a hotel chain would prioritize policy over basic human decency and public health. I wasn’t asking for anything unreasonable—just not to be penalized for trying to do the responsible thing. Instead, I was met with zero flexibility and zero empathy. I won’t be booking with Tru by Hilton again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who values customer service or compassion.
