Newly updated downtown Elk Rapids home, the house is less than a block to the beach and to Veterans' Memorial park. Memorial Park features basketball courts, tennis, a huge playground for kids, and all the great traits of a beach park. The three bedroom house sleeps 10 and is a quick 2-block walk to downtown dining, shopping, and water sports. Outside, a huge corner lot with gas grill and yard games perfect for outdoor entertaining and with room for the kids to run and play.

Great house with an amazing view of Grand Traverse Bay. Less than a block to the beach, downtown, dining, and a huge park and playground for children. House has big backyard to entertain and play outside. In addition, this house has room to park a boat on trailer and is within a mile of access to Elk Lake/Torch River System and to the bay. Golf, snowmobile/ORV trails, and skiing are all close by. For those who want a city experience, Traverse City is only a short drive away.

Older house in need of updates. Drshes were dirty, chairs in kitchen really uncomfortable, stove doesnt open because refrigerator is in the way. Shower in back was leaking so bad from underneath that you need a towel or 2 to soak up water every time its used. Mildew and mold in the bathrooms.about a pack worth if cigarette butts on the ground outside the back door next to rodent trap. Driveway is a long way from house.beds were really uncomfortable we were working in the area and stayed there for 5 days during winter when rates are reasonable, but would not want to pay summer rates to stay there . Place is kind of a dump

Our second time here. The location is one of the main reasons we stay here. Walking distance to downtown Elk Rapids and the beach. Originally we booked this because it is pet friendly. The only thing we were disappointed in is the lawn was thick as a hay field. No big deal since we didn't have to cut it. Price and location are the main reasons we continue to come back.

The house was very cute, listing was accurate. Location was excellent, easy walk to the beach and downtown shopping. Kids loved the beach playground. Kitchen had everything we needed. The only hiccups were that we didn't get an automatic message with the check in information. However, the host replied very quickly to my question of how to check in, so it didn't really effect our stay. There were also a lot of little fly bugs on the ceiling corners in the kitchen when I checked in. I was able to vacuum them up in a few minutes and they stayed gone the rest of our stay, so likely someone before us just opened the window without a screen. Otherwise it was very clean (no issues with beds, bathroom or counters). There was also a nice peek a boo view of the bay from the kitchen, living room and upstairs bedroom!

Great Location for Last-Minute UpNorth Trip

The location of your Elk Rapids home worked out perfectly for our last minute trip. Very walkable to restaurants and the beach and pickleball courts at the park. It was also convenient for our excursions to Traverse City, Sleeping Bear Dunes, and Petoskey. Communications with you and check-in/out process went smoothly. Would stay again if in the area.

Great Winter Get-Away!

This is our 3rd time staying in the home and we just can’t say enough about the home and owners! So quick and easy to communicate with. The home is wonderful! Perfect for our family. And we really love the town of Elk Rapids especially in the Winter. Restaurant and shops are located very close by. You can walk to downtown from the home. The home is very comfortable and well taken care of. The owners provide necessities, so you don’t need to feel like you have to bring every little thing from home, making for an easy, relaxing get away! We would highly recommend this rental and owners! Thank you again for everything!

Christmas in Elk Rapids

The home is cute and cozy! Tastefully decorated and clean with everything we needed for a wonderful visit. The hosts even put up a Christmas tree for us! We’d definitely love to stay here again, any time of year!
