"The breakfast was great. The laundry facilities were broken and terrible. We had to waste one morning of sightseeing to do laundry at an outside service. They need more elevators at check out as we waited four cycles to check out and bring our luggage down because it was so packed. Rooms were small for four people but good enough. Didn’t ask for Eiffel Tower view but got one anyway with partial blockage by surrounding buildings. Area was not vintage Paris streets more like a 1970s feel safe but not beautiful. Front door under a large overpass like bridge but overall not bad except laundry being broken and not getting fixed even though they kept promising it would was pretty disappointing. Would have been great except for that"

"We enjoyed our stay at CitizenM which is a very unique concept hotel. This location is literally steps from the Gare de Lyon station (be sure to exit at the lower level onto Rue de Bercy) so very convenient for travelling. Everything in the room was very clean and laid out with great efficiency. Even though it was compact, a lot of thought went into the arrangement and placement of various furniture and items for easy access. Breakfast was excellent with many choices and served in a large cafeteria. Free water is always available for filling. Would definitely stay here again and consider it as a first choice for any location we visit in future."

"We had a good stay. The staff were efficient and the amenities good. Breakfast was great and a good variety of dairy free / gluten free options too. Please note, the swimming pool and changing rooms are quite dated and look MUCH bigger in the pictures. Location is good near Eiffel tower, shops and smaller restaurants. Room was dated and in need of a refresh but we really appreciated the blackout curtains and aircon in a May heatwave!"

"The property grounds is dirty. Garbage is all over the front of the hotel. The phone in the room is not working. Was brought to the attention of the front desk but never been address. Requested for the room to be cleaned early in the morning. Put the sign at the door and also informed the receptionist and came back at 245pm but still not clean. Saw the cleaning gentleman on the floor of our room and told him. Went out to grab something to eat and came back after 2 hrs and still not cleaned. I went to the receptionist and told her and she called the cleaning person to clean it. The only thing good in this hotel is the location. Other than that, I don't recommend this hotel to anyone."

"I came at 4 to check in because that’s what it says check in time is… they couldn’t get me in my room until 4:25 after I complained. The frame which is the restaurant inside of the hotel… customer service is horrible. No one greets you we say for a good 15 minutes before we were finally offered a drink from the bar. I paid $180 to have someone bring me champagne and macaroons with rose pedals to our room at 9am…. Didn’t come until 9:50 and we then had to rush because we had to catch a train. I’ve stayed at other hotels in Paris that I would give 10/10 this one is over priced only because of the view. It is not worth cost."
