« Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. The staff are great, enthusiastic and helpful.Walks in the nearby hills or to the lochs. The Village is well placed for access to the magnificent nearby scenery (but do not follow the receptionist recommendation as to how to get to the falls - the road is a nightmare and there is a longer but better way!). « Bel appartement pour visiter Oban et les environs :) à noter qu'il faut se stationner dans la rue alors je ne dirais pas que le stationnement est inclus. De plus, il n'y a pas de sécheuse alors prévoir votre lavage en conséquence, il a fallu 3 jours pour que ça sèche. Autrement, je recommande définitivement ce logement et Oban dn général :) »

« Le gîte est bien situé et très propre. Bien équipé et les lits sont confortables. Nombreuses promenades à pieds depuis la location. L’hôte nous a guidé par téléphone jusqu'au gite alors que nous nous étions trompés d’adresse avec une grande patience car nous parlons mal anglais. « We stayed only two nights. The property is about 30 minutes outside of Oban at the edge of a smaller loch and just outside a small village. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, including when we had an issue (likely self-inflicted) with a washing machine. We would definitely stay again, and make time to stay longer and enjoy more of the area as well as the property’s many amenities. Strongly recommended. »

"Le Kelvin Hotel à Oban est une bonne option pour un court séjour. L’établissement est bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre-ville, et les chambres sont globalement propres et confortables. Petit bémol pour les chambres situées sous les toits : il faut parfois faire preuve d’agilité pour éviter les pans inclinés du plafond — un vrai petit jeu au quotidien ! Cela dit, cela n’a pas gâché notre séjour. Une adresse simple mais pratique pour découvrir Oban à pied."
