A cozy, secluded, gingerbread cottage set on 5 treed acres in Sleeping Rainbow. Four scenic minutes from Torrey -- a sweet, tree-lined village just 11 gorgeous miles from Capitol Reef NP. Every room has a great view, including the bathrooms! Fully equipped kitchen. Dining table seats 8 plus 4 bar stools. Rock BBQ. Sleeps six: two queen, pillow-top, memory-foam beds, and a set of bunk beds. Large-screen TV in the living room. Wifi and internet/smart TV.

What a wonderful home! Fantastic stay!!

We absolutely loved this home and its location! It was very well equipped, quiet and comfortable. There are lots of books, games and brochures to check out. The home is very close to Capital Reef and walkable to town. We will definitely be back!

Perfect spot, very quiet and private

Mia was fantastic and easy to communicate with, she was such a help. The house is exactly as listed, it worked out great for 2 adult couples. Two similar bedrooms upstairs with the bathroom in between, everyone is equal. The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING, living room cozy, and great views out of every window. Out of our four nights, we only had one good for stargazing, but it's PERFECT for it!

Great location, very close to Capitol Reef. Torrey has restaurants, gas station, etc. If the skies are clear at night, it's perfect for star gazing. Communication with owner is the best we've had for a rental.

Comfortable, bright, quiet, and spacious, well stocked and supplied. We loved that things are labled! Great base for exploring Capitol Reef NP, Grand Staircase Escalante, and Goblin State Park areas. We spent two nights at the "cottage" and will book again if we are planning to be in the area. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and there was a huge internet connected flat screen TV. The views of the rimrock, sunrise, and sunset were spectacular.

Cozy Capitol Reef Cottage

We loved our stay! We had everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable from soft and comfortable bedding to cooking utensils. The town of Torrey is just minutes from Capitol Reef which made coming and going hassle free. Our hosts were great too. We look forward to staying there again.

I’ve stayed in many VRBO properties and this was one of the best. A true 5 star in every possible category: the place itself, privacy, location, views, access to restaurants and outdoor activities, host communications, and household supplies. HIGHLY recommended. Sand creek cottage

Had a fabulous stay at this cozy cottage. Very close to capital reef NP. Loved the kitchen and wood burning stove (wood was supplied which was great). If you stay here during off season, be sure to bring food and drink with you as most places close in Nov. Mia, our host, was very attentive and helpful!

Beautiful quiet location

A restful oasis at the end of a dead-end dessert road. There are neighbors nearby, by the vibe is very low-key. Proximity to Captial Reef and Boulder Mountain made for easy exploring days and a place of cool rest in the afternoon on 100+ degree days.

Wonderful stay!

We had a great getaway. The best stargazing we’ve ever experienced and so close to many fabulous hikes and site seeing. Sad we didn’t have enough time to explore the land around the house, but we had too many things to pack into such a short time! We would love to come back and see more in the future, and will definitely rebook this home again.
