"The amenities were really lacking. The pool was closed. The game room was closed and when we asked that the games be turned on, they said they would do it but did not. The expensive breakfast was awful. While the towels in my room were replaced with clean ones the used k-pods in the room were not replaced. We had to wait on a long line to check in since there was only one person behind the desk working reception. The whole place just seems really run down."

"Beautiful and exactly as described! Our family loved the space, playing billiards, and the location! Breakfast, lunch and dinner were all within walking distance. Sightseeing and shopping were only a few minutes drive in either direction. The wooden floors, while stunning, are noisy as others noted, but they didn’t impede on our stay. There was an issue with access when we arrived, but it was resolved in about 30 minutes and it was smooth sailing from there on. All in all, the space is great and has many niceties throughout that other hosts don’t think to include, like tissues and water bottles. We would recommend it!"

"House is beautiful!! Communication was great! Only thing negative to say and it is no fault of anyone, the yard was difficult for my senior dog to access, steep basement steps made it impossible for her to navigate. Other then that we had an amazing time!"

"Eric and Derek could not have been more responsive, accommodating, and welcoming. This was put to a serious test when the unusually frigid temperatures froze the pipes to the bath and shower. They tried to resolve the issue but the single digit temps won out. With no hesitation, they issued a refund to us.The loft was top to bottom sparkling clean and showed great attention to detail and thoughtful design. Excellent location as well. Gratitude to their demonstrated professionalism."

"This was a very sweet stay and the location, ambiance, and design of the loft was really lovely! There was unfortunately a mouse who made their presence known by leaving droppings in the kitchen. We had to buy cleaning supplies because there were no cleaning spray/wipes or even dish soap. However, the host was understanding and provided reimbursement for the items we needed to purchase. Otherwise, the space was clean. My partner and I appreciated the view and the sound of the train going by. It was perfectly cozy and warm, and was a nice stay. Thanks so much for having us!"

"This was a very disappointing stay, especially for a New Year’s trip with family.The cleanliness was unacceptable. There was hair and dog hair on the blankets, hair inside the bathtub, and dirt throughout the house. It was extremely uncomfortable and far below basic hospitality standards.The house is entirely wooden, and you can hear absolutely everything — conversations, footsteps, normal movement. If you’re traveling with children, be aware of this. Even though the host knew in advance that we were traveling with two kids, I still received messages asking us not to make noise, which felt unreasonable for a holiday stay.We also spent two full days without hot water. No one was able to take a shower at all. Although a technician was sent, we were told that the pipes are old and that the system cannot handle hot water for multiple people. This means the house simply cannot support normal use when occupied by a family. If the property cannot meet basic needs like hot water, it should not be rented out.Despite the issue, no real solution was provided, and we were left without hot water in freezing temperatures.Overall, this was a major disappointment. This situation reflects both a failure by the host and a failure by the platform to allow a property like this to be rented without proper infrastructure. I’m leaving this review as a warning for future guests."
