But the beds were more than firm, in fact rather hard, with only a single slim pillow apiece. The carpet looked tired and the room wouldn’t cool off no matter how one set the thermostat. Opening the slats at the bottom of the window eventually cooled it a bit. The dinner buffet seemed expensive at 5500 yen, with no option to order a la carte. So we declined and went back to town and hit the excellent Teshikaga Ramen place. We chose not to have breakfast or dinner here as that seemed expensive so made do with what we picked up earlier at a conbini on the way here :). There was a nice games area in the hotel basement and we played some table tennis there.
