This made for excellent firework viewing from the room for the local festival. They also had a nice common area in the hotel with some tables, coffee, tea and hot water to use. Although the hotel was having some renovation work done, this didn't affect us in any way and the stay was peaceful and quiet. It was fantastic to wake up and be able to see the whole of the lake - it was an instant weather forecast! There was a jacuzzi bath in the room too which was lovely after a day sightseeing. There is not a daily cleaning service but you do get clean towels every day and can ask for anything else that you need. Parking was right outside the hotel entrance.
