Be aware there are two ferries from Ishigaki, and only one has a shuttle to the hotel. If you’re going to rent a car book it early, but the island is very doable without a car as long as you go with the flow. The hotel is close to the river ferry which takes you to waterfall hike. « We loved our time at Cago Guest House. My husband and I stayed for two nights and wish we stayed longer. Taketomi is a beautiful, quiet island and Cago is the perfect place to stay and enjoy it. The staff was so kind, the cook gave us a jam recipe and the reception staff translated the recipe from Japanese to English for us. Extremely well served as well : there is a laundry room and got snorkelling tours directly on the beach. A place of reference when we come back to Ishigaki. »

« この度はお世話になりました！ 徒然なるままにレビューを記述します。 ①スタッフの方々がとてもフレンドリー！（ホントに素敵な方々でした！） ②部屋が広く、全室オーシャンビュー。ベランダも広くて快適 ③周辺にはお店がない為、事前に買い込みしておく必要あり。夕食も街中で済ませておく必要あり。よく言えば喧騒とは離れてリゾート感は得られる ④自転車3時間無料で借りられる ⑤プールはほぼ貸切。周りに気を遣わなくていいので子連れにはいい ⑥星が尋常じゃなく綺麗 ⑦朝食がデフォルトでついてるとよかった（周りに何もないので） ⑧2026冬に向けてリニューアルするみたいなのでまた訪れたい！ »
