ジャングルホテルとのネーミングに惹かれ訪れましたが、設備や建物はかなり傷んでいるうえ、大浴場やベランダ等ペンキは剥がれ朽ちていて、辛かったです。純朴なだけが取り柄と見受けられるスタッフも広いホテルの割には、一度に最大で2人しか見かけませんでした。ロケーションも人気の上原まで車で30分ほどかかり、路線バスは1日に3本程度、タクシーは全島で3台のみという絶望的な交通インフラなうえに、ホテルによるイレギュラーな送迎サービスは期待できませんから、レンタカーは必須です。世界遺産は自然だけで、ホテルには期待していませんでしたので、次回は星野リゾートに泊まります。 traveller Jul 27, 2020 スタッフの教育の徹底が必要。毎日違う情報を聞かされた。 1日目:外出で鍵を預ける際にホテルで夕食が必要であれば午後7時までに連絡して欲しいと言われる。鍵を預けるコンディションについての説明は無し。 2日目、朝食の際にディナーが必要であれば午後5時までに連絡が必要と言われる。 また、外出鍵を預ける際、午後10時までに帰って来なければ、鍵の返却が出来ないと言われる。 3日目、外出で鍵を預けようとフロントに行くと、現在、鍵の預かりのサービスは受け付けていない、と言われる。 通常、朝食はビュッフェとの事だがコロナの影響でビッフェではなく、10種類程の複数のおかずを乗せたプレートをいただく。通常はビュッフェなので、当然このプレートのおかわりがいただけると思ったが、おかわりできるのは飲み物のみ、と言われる。 4泊の滞在でホテル側からのゴミ捨てサービスは無し。コロナの影響でゴミは自分で捨てるというポリシーにしたらしい。 またタオルの交換も無し。 ##### Verified チェックイン時、外国人スタッフで頑張っているのは分かるのですが説明がほぼなく、清掃&タオル交換がないことや朝食がどこ等の説明がなかったのが困りました。日本人スタッフもついていたのに何も言わなかったので元々こんな説明なのかもしれませんし、エコに配慮しているのはとても素晴らしいのですが、一般的なホテルに慣れている日本人には一言あると助かると思います。
