Overall it is convenient for a visitor, though noisy and air pollution due to the traffic. The hotel was unexpectedly poor. It was converted from an old Taiwan thorough, or townhouse, narrow hallways, turning steps, and little moving space everywhere. It worsened the situation by piling unrelated stuff, lamps, shelfs, piles.. in the hallway. No way to turn on them but take much space. The worst is its management. All guests are required to remove shoes and keep in an open shelf next to the manager desk, to keep the floor clean I guess. The only lighted living space, next to the manager desk is closed at 10 PM. Afterwards guests can only stay in bed, in toilet, shower, or on a rooftop space of 150 square ft, without air conditioning. I departed at 6 AM,, while still dark outside. To my surprise, the whole space, from manager desk, living space, shoe shelf were without light. The wall was cramped that I had no way to find a light switch. Later the staff confirmed keeping all dark after 10 PM is store regular practice. No hotel sttaff at premise until 10 AM. . This hotel is a shame of Taipei hotels. It treats guests like cattle on a range.
