I had a wonderful stay! The room was clean, and exactly what I needed. I have issues sleeping and the mattress was a bit to soft for me. Outside of that, the location was quite and close to all the fun I had. I would stay again.

We had such a great stay at the CW Resort in Clearwater! The pool area was beautiful and relaxing, the views were amazing, and the entire property was very clean and well maintained. It was the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a Florida getaway. We would definitely stay here again!

Pros Very Clean, Close walk to pier,shops,resturants,beach Cons Hidden parking cost of $40.00 per day which was never mentioned when making reservation through expedia! The balance due at check in was for the Resort fees which in other words a reason to get more money after you have already paid a lot to stay.I understand entirely about resort fees I own a condo in Myrtle Beach SC and my resort does the same to my guests. It is such a unexplainable or if explained means nothing but 100% way to get guests money for nothing!I put my unit up for sale when my guests were subjected to this added charge.I know this is common to most resorts and we pay but it never feels good because the reason for the money is always the same! Oh towel service or house keeping or whatever they want to say.Was told at my resort at the HOA it goes into a separate account but funny that account does not exist at our HOA meetings Sorry this doesn't have anything to do with Avalon except they do charge extra for parking which is a staple anywhere if the beautiful State of Florida All in all nice place to spend time with family and friends. Oh and Karen is a very nice person and hope this review makes sense ;)

The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and welcoming, and they truly made us feel at home. The rooms were clean If you’re looking for a small, family-oriented hotel where you can relax and enjoy quality time with your loved ones without the crowds of large resorts, this is the perfect place. The atmosphere is peaceful, private, and ideal for families with children. One of my favorite things was that the beach is just a short walk away. It’s beautiful, quiet, and much more private than the busy public beaches because it’s surrounded by smaller hotels. We loved being able to enjoy the peaceful setting and spend quality time together as a family. I recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again. The outstanding staff and relaxing atmosphere are the main reasons I’ll be coming back.
