Forfaits vacances – Swellendam

The location, apartment and facilities were excellent and the hospitality was on the same standard. Situated close to the V&A waterfront and Bo Kaap, there was little need for taxis or public transport, and there are plenty of coffee shops, supermarkets and excellent restaurants within 2 or 3 minutes walk. If we're in Cape Town again, we will seek out the loft.

The staff were incredible throughout, we loved them and their friendly helpful ways and will miss them. The situation is also excellent with many amenities nearby. Room service was also excellent BUT the noise from the Irish pub over the road was awful and completely disrupted our sleep on the 2nd night which was a Friday night, and partially disrupted it on the Saturday night. Breakfast at the Dock House Boutique hotel was also really uninspiring - small room felt claustrophobic and the food was very plain with croissants and bread that seemed a couple days old. I think we could have done better at another local hotel.

More choice of fruit at breakfast and real orange juice would be preferable

Un excellent endroit pour passer quelques jours au Cap. La suite est lumineuse, fonctionnelle et dispose de tous nos besoins quotidiens. Le personnel est fantastique, souriant, professionnel et toujours à l'écoute de nos besoins. Un problème survient et il est immédiatement résolu dans la minute et toujours avec bienveillance. De petites attentions ont été mises à disposition dans la chambre tous les jours afin de rendre notre séjour INOUBLIABLE. Sans aucune hésitation, nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir au Taj Cape Town lors de notre prochain voyage en Afrique du Sud.
