"We wanted to get away for a few days during Spring Break and this lake house was perfect for my husband and I and our dog. The cabin was easy to find and conveniently located. It was ideal as a base for exploring the area. (The beach in Duluth was brisk and beautiful! We highly recommend The Lazy Moose in Moose Lake for breakfast!) The view of the lake from the house is fantastic. The bed was super comfortable and we had everything we needed for a peaceful stay. We would LOVE to return during warmer months to enjoy the full range of everything the cabin and the surrounding area has to offer. If you are looking for a comfortable lake house with a gorgeous view in an excellent location, this is your place!"

"My partner and I enjoyed a winter weekend getaway at Whispering Pines and can’t wait to book another visit! The cabin is cozy - we especially loved the fireplace and sauna. We also enjoyed cooking in the nice kitchen and there’s nothing quite like eating with a beautiful lake view! The local grocery store was a short 8 minute drive away and we also enjoyed stopping for dinner at Doc’s, a local fave. With the golf course a short walk down the road, we’ll definitely book a stay in the summer to enjoy a few rounds of golf and time at the lake. Thank you for sharing this great spot!"

"This motel far exceeded our expectations. The owner was helpful and very accommodating. The room was crisp and clean. The bed was comfortable. The only thing that was lacking was the hot water did not get hot enough for us. Breakfast at the bar was great, making this get away perfect."
