Stecoah Vacation Packages

We have stayed here a few times We have always like the building next to the camp grounds for the peace and quiet. But this stay was a little different They had someone there pressure washing the building So they could paint it So this made our stay a little inconvenience on the first day you could not sit out on the private balcony because they were pressure washing the building and water was coming in on your patio and under the door . The second day they were masking off the building to begin painting the building so they blocked off the parking lot and you had to park in another parking area and walk to the motel ( a very short walk ) I feel like this was why we never had maid service during our stay ( 3 days)because they could not actually get to the rooms to clean them

Was really nice, great setup, fully equipped, comfortable with superb views of the mountains. The pool, hot tub and sauna are very nice after a day of hiking. The location is ideal, the national park and Gatlinburg are both just a few minutes away. The furniture was a tad worn but overall very satisfied.

Some positives: two water park areas, one inside and one outside. The rooms are large. Just a couple negatives to note- the indoor "water park" was scarce and both the splash area and indoor slides did not run every single day we were there. The chlorine in the indoor pool burned our eyes, it was that stong. The outdoor water park was larger but they closed the slides down early every day. My kids were disappointed with that. Room service on our five day trip was simply they would change the main garbage, take the old towels, and leave new on the counter. I guess I'm used to them making your bed and freshening up the room. Overall good stay and close to all the amenities.

We could be happier with the staff. The front desk went above and beyond helping with our parking and oriented us on the places surrounding the hotel. Besides the staff, the room was spacious, nice decor and super clean. We would definitely recommend this place.
