"Excellent location, right at thr gate of old Mdina. The hotel staff is very friendly amd welcoming. Thr room itself is very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the location is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is just 1 minute walk from the bus terminal which can take you all over Malta ( airport, all the ports, valletta an so on) .

"A beautiful brand new hotel just outside the Mdina area - 10 min walk. Lovely rooms, facilities and kind and efficient staff. Literally only opened 2 weeks ago so not all facilities completely up and running yet in the wellness anrea and with its group classes but won’t be far behind. A great base to explore Malta. "
"The property was amazing. The decor was beautiful and so tasteful. The staff were so friendly but the owners were the kindest people I’ve met in my travels. I would highly recommend this place. It’s like going to someone’s home. The location was perfect. It was the highlight of my trip. "

"We have been here for one week holiday. The position of the complex is quite convenient (it is located near the most beautiful and populated area in St. Paul's Bay), but our experience was not satisfactory at all. The building is very old, the room cleaning service below the minimum acceptable level (no liquid soap refill, no towels change) and the shower very difficult to use. The balcony was "equipped" with dirty chairs and sunbeds, and the air conditioning device of the room aside leaking...
"We had an excellent stay at the hotel! The staff were really helpful and friendly whenever we had questions. Our room was spacious, clean and a really nice balcony too. The pool space was fantastic with lots of sun loungers and a great pool too. Would highly recommend and would happily stay there again!"
"We really enjoyed out 5 nights stay. The room was spacious and well finished. The pool area is beautiful. The food is amazing and the staffs were nice and helpful. The only thing I would suggest needs looking into is the slight off smell in the bathroom."

"I booked this hotel for my birthday without realising it had only just opened a few days before our arrival. From the moment we checked in, the front desk staff were warm and welcoming, and I was delighted to be surprised with a complimentary room upgrade for my birthday — a thoughtful touch I really appreciated. The rooms were incredible — spacious, beautifully designed, and among the best I’ve ever stayed in, certainly the finest I’ve seen in Malta. The facilities were equally impressive, with a modern spa and stunning pools that I’d highly recommend. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, professional, and went out of their way to make our stay special. On my birthday, I was even surprised with a small cake at breakfast, which made the day feel extra memorable. We dined in the hotel’s restaurant on several evenings and both the food and service were excellent. The steak in particular was a highlight, and the dessert trolley always offered tempting choices. The location is another plus — peaceful and just a 10-minute walk from the historic city of Mdina, which is perfect for a day out. As the hotel had only just opened, there were still some finishing touches ongoing, and the outdoor bar wasn’t ready yet, but this didn’t detract from our stay. The only negatives were that prices felt a little high, parking at €8 per day was expensive, and the hot breakfast options were limited (though some items could be ordered). Overall, a beautiful new hotel. Highly recommend"
"A beautiful hotel with very friendly, proactive staff. Lots of different dining options. Lovely breakfast and the Italian restaurant was one of the best meals of our Malta stay - the shared seafood starter was amazing! The pool and bar area was excellent too. Lovely indoor bar as well."
"I had an excellent experience at the Xara Palace! The suite felt luxurious, and the bed gave me two wonderful nights of the best sleep I’ve had in a while. "The hotel was absolutely so charming from the start. It is truly a hidden gem in an already romantic setting however the staff the decor, the attention to detail, the food the ambience everything was truly amazing and exceeded our expectations. On a hot July day of sightseeing the pool was the best way to end of our day. We spent a good few hours the next morning chilling by the pool before heading off. Priscilla and Maria and just every single staff member that we encountered were only too happy to ensure our stay was as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. I would highly recommend the hotel and I’m most certainly coming back. The food in the restaurant is to die for. I can highly recommend the prawns and the rack of lamb. I still dreaming about it. Absolutely delicious."
