Breakfast was one of the best. Staff was friendly and very nice. Old building right in front of the Mdina gate. Small, but I wasn’t there to spend a lot of time in the room. I wanted to see all the heritage sites. It situated between a petrol station and a major road. The air conditioning did not work, the fuse went, the window frames were rotten. Good breakfast, very central and helpful staff. It is in a great location to explore the Mdina and Rabat. The windows of the dining room look out onto a beautiful vista in the valley below.Unfortunately, our room did not have a view or much natural light coming through the shuttered window. Our updated room was small with a double bed and single bed, so not a lot of room for two, but the shower was new and everything was clean. The room had a kettle available to make coffee and tea. The proprietors were friendly and helpful when approached and the breakfast options were varied, delicious and our young man who served us made the best cappuccino so far on our trip!
