Hôtels à partir de – Smith Point, Anahuac

« Ma compagne et moi avions réservé cet hôtel en bord de plage à Galveston, j’avais laissé un petit mot pour que l’on puisse avoir une chambre face mer si possible. Lors du check in, nous avions simplement l’impression d’embêter (pour rester polis) l’employé qui essayait de suivre son match à la télé ! Je lui ait demandé gentillement si nous pouvions avoir la chambre avec vue mer et il m’a simplement dit « non » avec une excuse du genre « c’est complet » alors que l’hôtel n’était absolument pas...

« The peep hole in our door was missing, giving you a clear view into the room. The floor in the room was sticky in places and clearly had not been swept. A little over an hour before check out time we got on the elevator with a member of house keeping and was asked what room we were in and when we were “getting out”. I can forgive the coffee machine being broken at breakfast but the rest…100% avoidable »

« You get what you pay for. Given its age and proximity to the coast, it's a cheap place to stay. »

« I went to check in waiting for an hour an half they finally got me a room at 6pm then I go in the room was not ready so I took pic an video to show front desk she then give me another room that was not ready too pic an video of that she gets upset with me an cancel my reservations an told me she refunded me because I took pictures of the rooms that wasn’t done! I didn’t get my money back an nowhere to stay »

« Device was great I booked through Expedia and didn’t have a check in until 4 pm but need it earlier and the front desk staff was able to help me get my room at 12:30 now that’s what I call great customer service! So so thankful for this company and its services and great staff. I think the lady was named Jeriquanna. Young black lady! »

« Could see the beach but view could have been better, room was very clean, ask staff to just make bed and change towels, and even tipped the attendant..she only changed the towels so things were good but could have been better »

« Pas une très bonne expérience sauf pour le stationnement gratuit pour la durée de la croisière (on peut se rendre au port en taxi et économiser des frais de stationnement). La chambre était très sale (drap, évier, douche, etc.), de la poussière +++, très vieille et le mobilier était brisé (chaise avec un barreau de casser). Internet très très très lent et difficile... Un train qui passe à une dizaine de mètres de la chambre à 1h00 AM (et qui siffle)... »

« The room is very average for the price. The personnel at the reception was also average. One person was very friendly but wasn’t very competent. The other one, later in the day, was not that friendly and didn’t seem to know what smiling was. We couldn’t dial a local number from our room. Not that we didn’t know how to do it but because the system wasn’t functioning properly. When we asked her to do it from the main desk we were certain we were bothering her and she put the phone at our disposal...

« La climatisation fonctionnait bien, une assez bonne insonorisation, stratégiquement bien situé aux côtés de bons restaurants à distance de marche. »
