Liked the ambience of a former posh resort but with the maze of hallways and slanted floors it was much like walking in a carnival funhouse. Ample parking and walking distance to a cafe Very limited dinner menu and not cheap but very good. Bed was too small and room very cramped but functional. A fridge would’ve been nice. Close to some tourist attractions and a lot of history in the town itself.

The room we rented was quite overpriced for what it was. We enjoyed that there was a sink in the room. But the shared bathrooms were not perfectly clean. There was a lot of noise from the hallway in the morning and there did not seem to be any noise buffering in place.

We had an excellent stay over August Bank Holiday weekend. 4 adults, a toddler and a baby were accommodated with no issues. Comfy beds, excellent equipment in kitchen and bathroom, beautiful location.
The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful, and little touches like milk and cupcakes, make for such a nice welcome! Highlight recommended.
