"This is our second year staying at the cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday. It was just as great a stay as last year. We enjoy how open but cozy it is, the charm of the knotty pine and being close to our family. There is everything you need including for cooking. The gas stove was plenty warm for us, but there are other heaters in the bedroom and bathroom if you need it super toasty. "We stayed at Ron's place for a 4 day weekend of ATVing in the area. His cabin was immaculate. The location was super quiet. He was very easy to communicate with and accommodating. The view of the pond was stunning and spending some time on the dock after our rides quite relaxing. We will definitely be back again and would recommend his spot to anyone."

"Beautiful spot on the lake, very private. Stayed with family to view the solar eclipse and it was perfect. Plenty of room - and fully stocked kitchen (pots, pans, spices, etc.) and bathroom to make it easy to just arrive (best to arrive with groceries though - it takes awhile to get back to any shops!). Bald eagles (and a golden eagle sighting) were quite a bonus."

Pros: excellent location right on the lake, well-stocked kitchen with relatively sharp knives (unusual for a rental!), great communication with the local agent, easy check-in and check-out. "If you want to get rid of some stress this is the perfect place. Quiet & beautiful. You could spend a few hours just looking at all the things Bill has put into the cabin & porch. You see something new every time. Or old like the pay phone on the porch. Bill is a great owner! You can send him a message anytime & he will get back to you on the same day. Definetly check out the Monson general store. They have great sandwiches for breakfast & lunch. Everything is so fresh & great desserts too!"
