St. Gilgen Vacation Packages

The staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s within a 25 min walk to the city center but there are regular buses a block away that go right into the city center which make it super convenient. The hotel gave us a free pass for the bus. It was a breeze going back and forth the 2 days we were there. Also the hotel is walking distance to the main train terminal.

Desayuno un tanto pobre en selección y servicio lento, Cuartos simples, parece un Ibis. Sin café en el cuarto. Climatización mediocre. Excelente ubicación. Y por eso y su terraza vale la pena quedarse en el.

Room was great size and value for two people. Location was ideal as it is across the river from the Old Town and on the cute, main road, which is exactly where I wanted to stay. The hotel also was able to store our bags after we checked out and continued to explore the city. Took off 1 star because we went to sleep with the windows open and on Saturday morning the trash collection people arrived early (5am or something) and it was very loud. Once the trash collection subsided, the church bell next door appeared to ring every 15 minutes. I recognize this is out of the hotel's control, but it's just something to keep in mind if you're not an early riser.

The Villa Carlton was lovely. Excellent location , right by Mirabell Palace/Gardens. Walkable to sites. The room was clean and decor was eclectic in and old world building

Location beyond perfect! Front desk: Austrian (chilly but efficient) Amenities: a refrigerator or minibar in room would be nice...otherwise perfect! Do not miss the graveyard directly behind the property.
