"We loved our 3-night stay in the cottage! It was a little tight for our family of 4 but it was perfectly clean and decorated adorably. It had everything we needed to make a cooked breakfast each morning and a patio out front overlooking the water. The hot tub unfortunately didn’t seem to be working as the water wasn’t warm/hot at all, however, our boys enjoyed swimming in the pool. We drove into Acadia both days and it was about 1.5 hours drive. We would definitely stay again if we go that way again!"

"Breakfast room and offerings great. Bonfire at night nice! Rooms small but comfortable. Porch outside room nice as well. Grounds have lovely gardens and lawns. Upgrades to property well done. "

"Best thing about this hotel? The large private back deck overlooking the harbor. Wonderful to wake up and come home to after a long day of exploring this beautiful part of Maine. "

"Fireside Inn was friendly, courteous and helpful during my stay. The coffee was excellent and available at all hours. There was nothing I didn't like at all. Internet speed was excellent (I guess I read some out-dated reviews about it being very slow). Great stay and would recommend Fireside Inn! "
