Lots of privacy. Located just inside Belfast Harbor, right on the walking/biking trail. This waterfront cottage has use of the deep ocean water private dock for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, etc. Kayak or paddleboard into town or walk/bike into town along the waterfront trail right from your back door. Full custom kitchen, two decks. spectacular private view. Sunsets are incredible from the back deck. This did not take away from the property, and it was a short walk to a city path which was a well used gravel path into downtown Belfast. About a mile walk. We loved taking our dog for walks on the trails behind the house. There was plenty of wildlife and beauty right behind the house. This was the best place for birdwatching! We could hear the loons from our window at night, and we saw them in the lake a few times. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated, spotless, and had everything we needed for cooking dinners. The host, Jon, was quick to respond to our questions and made the whole stay seamless with his kindness and hospitality. Belfast is a wonderful town with shops and views of the river. We preferred it compared to more crowded places like Bar Harbor. We discovered that all on our own.What I had read in the comments, it sounded great however there wasn’t sufficient paper products (I.e. Paper towel towels/toilet paper). I was smart enough to bring a roll of paper towels, and when we stopped at the local grocery store and picked up two rolls of toilet paper.On the website, it says that they were sufficient in the kitchen and had a lobster pot. Well guess what someone took their lobster pot because it’s wasn’t there. We went to Young’s Lobster pound and had them cook our lobster and brought it back with us.All in all the place wasn’t very clean and the couch was not comfortable whatsoever.
