« We spent a wonderful moment here for the 2nd time. We saw many more birds than 4 years ago : all types of toucans, amazing trogons, a caracara, kiskadies, tangara, humming birds... Don't forget to give them papaya😉 The hotel's hotsprings are great while having a cocktail or a juice. We went to Las termalitas and to Arenal and we enjoyed it very much. Chalo and his family are very kind and reactive. You can try the pizzas in chachaga : they are delicious. We love this place and this house a lot! »

« We had a lovely stay in this house just outside La Fortuna. We had delicious meals and highly recommend having breakfast and dinner at the house. It was amazing to see Flash the sloth hanging out in the garden. The house has a great location near activities but gives an authentic feel. Pura vida! »

« The host was great, the view of the Arenal Volcano was magnificent, the secluded pool was luxurious, the clean rooms were comfortable, and the location was ideal for our stay. Being in the middle of town the only drawback was traffic noise in the middle of the night (unavoidable). Would definitely stay again if the opportunity arises. »

« After high sensation when entering the house, our stay turned into a nightmare. What a shame to leave abandoned such a potentially lovely house! Dust, lizard and insects corpse, spider webs, sticky cutlery, wet sofa, shower leaking to toilet, front door lock hardly working, abandoned trash in the garden and crawlspace are just some of the too many issues which make us escape from this hell instead of spending a second night at the same place. We can't understand how owners maintain their house...
