This is a great location, so many walkable restaurants and sights to see. The room and lobby were a bit worn. The staff was very nice and helpful. The area felt very safe. The bed in our room was not comfortable though and the pillows were hard. We stayed 3 nights. The free breakfast was okay. Several choices but eggs terrible. A/c was adequate and room was quiet. It is a good basic place in a great area. If the bed was better I'd give a better rating.

The “4 star” is truly not reflective of this property. I usually don’t complain but felt this would be helpful. For the positive, the location was great, it was easy to find, and the staff were super nice. The property however does not have the same sentiments. The property is extremely dated, in need of repair/restoration. It does not look like what the pics portray. There was no air conditioning. The WiFi did not work. The bed was hard. I could hear everyone around me, the lift is just that. Single person with luggage and I was concerned it would go down. The hallways smelled weird and the bathroom was in need of repairs and a deep clean. The breakfast buffet and even the space where breakfast was needed major update. The breakfast buffet itself was more of a continental breakfast at best. Breads fruits, meat, cheese, coffee. The eggs were soupy. This is not to mention that it was expensive compared to other places. I went with this place at the higher rate thinking it was an upgrade and it was not. Also the key has a heavy key chain on it that you’ll need to carry a bag to carry it bc it won’t fit in a pocket/wallet. It was big and heavy. I would not stay here for the price. There are places nearby and closer to attractions for cheaper.

Ideal base while exploring Rome, with short walks to the most popular landmarks. Some parts of the hotel are looking a little tired, but clean and comfortable. Customer service was amazing, staff very friendly and helpful.

Basic, clean and friendly staff.

Hotel is clean and rooms are basic, but there is no bar or restaurant as listed on Hotels.com. Location is excellent and very close to amenities. Transfer from airport was good and reasonably priced. Hotel staff are very friendly and knowledgeable.

Clean and convenient.

Hotel is close to many sights. Rooms are clean and were ready when we arrived. The AC was not working during our stay but luckily the hotel provided fans and the temperature was cool enough to open windows.

Good hotel, great service and bit tired at edges

Great location - 10 mins walk to Trevi Fountain and Colesseum. Quick & efficient check in. Large bedroom with a double and single bed and tonnes of space between them. Plenty of towels and good quality toiletries. Bottom of bathroom door had been badly damaged with water, and bottom of bedroom furniture was chipped but other than that the room was great. Breakfast was surprisingly good with decent selection of hot & cold food, and machine dispensing coffee and 3 different juices. It felt more like a 3 than a 4 star so over priced for what you get but i’d stay again because of the location

At first glance, the room seem very old and out of date. The furniture was old and worn. The decor the same. But, almost everything works and the bed was comfortable. The shower door leaks. Housekeeping only left us one set of paper cups and one box of tissues. Wouldn't be replaced if you run out. Room amenities are minimal. It was nice that they have 24 hour front desk service. It was comforting to know that if your taxi doesn't show up at 3am, there is someone who could help you call. The location was excellent. Walking distance to most sights. I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Small, quiet hotel in a great location. Close enough to walk to most things you would want to see on your visit to Rome. Breakfast was good and the rooms were clean with decent bathrooms. My only gripe would be regarding the air conditioning unit which was poor and needed updating and this wasn’t just a faulty unit as the other room on our booking was the same, otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay at Hotel Traiano
