There is a shared kitchen, and one thing to know it is on the third floor with no elevator. You will have to use three electronic locks to access the property and then key for your room. The rooms were big. The interior was a bit outdated but in good condition and clean. There is a common area with a kitchen which was great for making some tea and light meals. This isn't a full service property so towels were changed every 3 days or so. Don't get me wrong - the room is pretty good - but there are few niggles that they could fairly easily sort out: the mattress is long since past the time when they need to replace it for example and they make it quite difficult to pay the local room tax which even after we managed to do so they sent us a threatening email saying we hadn't and they were going to report us to "Roman authorities" (they did later apologise for that). Or there were 300+ channels on the TV but they didn't have one english language channel so we could watch any news - not the end of the world, but it would have been nice.
