We were literally about a football field away from the wall of the city. It is a small boutique hotel that has old world flavor. Understandable, things happen and it was fine. We purchased ours in our country of origin. Then we soon realized we were without hot water. Yes, it was hot outside but showering with ice cold water at 11pm was not comfortable at all.
