Highly recommend. Domus Luliae was a gem of a find. It had only just opened when we visited and everything was spotless. Stephano and David went out of their way to make sure we had everything we could possible need. The hotel is well situated in a quieter part of Rome, with a lovely walk through the park overlooking the Colosseum offering the perfect first glimpses. The two ladies serving breakfast were really friendly and chatty. The room had a welcome bottle of wine, fruit and water. For the price, you really can't get much better. Es gab nur Toast und Käse, Schinken, Salami sowie Nutella und Marmelade. Manchmal gab es Tomaten oder Erdbeeren. Etwas mehr aufgeschnittenes frisches Gemüse und Obst wäre toll gewesen, oder Naturjoghurt. Die Zimmer sind darüber hinaus extrem hellhörig. We really enjoyed our stay! Staff was friendly and accommodating. They made sure we had everything we needed and even provided us with a map and recommendations on what to see and how to get there. Rooms were clean, spacious and building even has a lift. A really nice touch was the bottled water daily in our room. It was very much appreciated! Hotel location is in a very safe area and we felt very safe walking back late at night. We walked with our luggage from the train station and it took us about 15 minutes. If you dont want to walk the whole way, you can also take the metro and it’s only a 3 minute walk. Since it is a guest house it does not have a reception area so key to an easy check in is letting them know what time you will be arriving. They messaged me a few days before asking what time we would be arriving. I let them know and someone was there to buzz us in and give us the walk through. The staff is friendly, warm and helpful and they truly try their very best to make their guest comfortable. The location of the property is ideal. Close to shops, lots of restaurants and bars.
