OK rum, dock VÄLDIGT lyhört. Speciellt från balkongen, då det låter som att man har dörren öppen (även om den är stängd) mot mycket trafikerad gata. Trevlig personal och bra städning annars!

The room is nicely decorated but needs some draws to put clothes/ items away, somewhere to hang wet towels, as we had to throw them over the doors to dry. This room is an apartment in a block of flats and the reception is on another floor. Very disappointed with the staff, my girlfriend came on her period in her sleep and when they come to clean the room, I was told we need to clean the sheets or we will get fined. I had to request some spare sheets so we could clean the other ones and had to wait around for him. Room looks nice though

Awful,arrived at the property with no one to greet us was walking up and down the street for 15 minutes trying to find the place,after we found it we discovered it was a b&b on the top floor of a block of flats. Room was not cleaned for the three days we was there eg bedding was not changed,towels was not replaced room was not cleaned only thing that happened was the bin was emptied!!guy the runs it wouldn’t provide us with hot water at 9 at night as there was no kettle in the room,if your looking for abit of sleep I wouldn’t recommend building work was goin on next door by the sound of things and you can hear everything going on outside your room due to doors and walls not being soundproof. overall it was horrendous would not advise staying here!!

En man mottog oss när vi kom dit, han kunde inte ett ord engelska och kunde därmed inte hjälpa oss att besvara frågor eller informera oss om något praktiskt kring boendet. Vi fick leta/gissa oss fram till all information såsom bland annat om frukost och liknande. De hade dessutom kastat ner vår resväska på golvet så att våra grejer låg utspritt på golvet när de blev missnöjda över att vi lagt väskan på en stol. De lämnade en arg lapp om detta på nattduksbordet. Åker inte tillbaka.

Posizione ottima, in pieno Viale trastevere. Fermata del tram che porta al centro. Parcheggio coperto proprio di fronte con abbonamento anche giornaliero. Appartamento con camere spaziose. Colazione e staff gradevole.

Close to Trastavere train station and tram stop.

Located in a gated property and very dark at night as you enter the courtyard and make the first left into the first building on the Left hand side and the elevator doors is sometimes left open and therefore stuck on the upper floors and then the elevator is not available and then one has to walk up to the sixth floor. Breakfast has limited choice . The towels are not changed daily. There is no kettle in the room for tea/coffee and no water bottles either. Check in after 10 pm incurs a late fee of 20 €.

Great hotel, but with a funny lightshow

A really nice hotel, with clean and new facilities. The room is big, and with a Good bed. The decoration in the hotel is kind of funny, with a weird light show haha, but everything is clean and week-kept. Althoug, the hotel is kind of diffucult to find, because it just looks like it is in a regular apartmemt.

Pulito e letto comodo ma alla mia richiesta di utilizzare il condizionatore (avevo freddo) mi hanno risp. Che non era possibile e che i riscaldamenti avevano fasce orarie! Mi sono "permesso" di prendere un bicchiere di acqua dal frigo e mi hanno scritto un SMS dove mi informavano che la cucina era ad uso esclusivo del personale (mi osservavano attraverso una webcam posta in cucina). Considerando che un albergo 4 stelle li vicino mi offriva una camera con 2 euro in più la prossima volta opteró per l'albergo.

Localização ótima, sem acessibilidade e segurança

Sinceramente classificar o Black-White de hotel é muita generosidade. Seria mais um flat com café da manhã, pois as instalações ficam num 6º andar de um prédio, sem Recepção, sem funcionário 24 h. Um elevador minúsculo e muito antigo. O Porteiro do edifício, que é residencial, só fica pelo dia. à noite se você perder a sua chave de entrada do prédio e da porta no 6º andar, vai ficar na rua. Pra se ter uma idéia, fomos recebidos pelo Igle (gente boa) na calçada da rua, que tinha nos solicitado o horário de chegada, pois senão nem acessaríamos o prédio. Imagino se tiver um problema no edifício, tipo um incêndio num andar inferior. Simplesmente você vai ficar numa situação muito perigosa.

Bed and Breakfast in hartje Rome

Wij hebben 3 nachtjes geslapen in B&B Black and White. Het inchecken verliep niet helemaal soepel. Ik had een week van te voren contact opgenomen met de staff om te vragen of we eerder konden inchecken dan 13.00 uur in verband met onze vlucht. Dit was geen probleem. Echter, bij aankomst bleek dit een probleem te zijn. De man die ons hielp sprak geen Engels en was erg onvriendelijk. Ook gaf hij ons een rekening van de kamer die we bij Expedia al hadden betaald. Met moeite kunnen oplossen. Na de eerste nacht schoven we aan bij het ontbijt en de man die ons incheckte was verdwenen en er stond een vriendelijke andere man die ons hartelijk groette. Hij bood ons koffie aan en gaf ons verse broodjes. Wat een opluchting vergeleken met die andere norse man! De man van het ontbijt (even zijn naam kwijt) heeft ons super goed geholpen tijdens ons verblijf. Vriendelijk, beleefd en behulpzaam. De kamer werd elke dag schoongemaakt. Dit was uitstekend! Alles was super schoon! Deze B&B ligt echt in hartje Rome. Alles is zo makkelijk te lopen. Heb je geen zin in lopen? Er stoppen voor de deur twee trams richting alle bezienswaardigheden. Ook authentieke hapjes zijn in de buurt verkrijgbaar. Lekker lopen en ontdekken. Wij zijn super tevreden met ons verblijf. En als die norse incheck man er niet was geweest, had deze B&B op alles een dikke voldoende gescoord!

Clever Apartment Conversion Makes Excellent Base

Located in the trendy area of Trastevere, where Roman's go out in the evening for food and bars, this very smart and well appointed B&B has been formed by the merger of a couple of apartments in a block. Breakfast is provided in a communal area and then there are three rooms; one en suite and two with larger beds but a shared bathroom. Great area for food and nightlife and right on the 3 and 8 tram (literally stops outside) to get to the City Centre. Also on the Roma Termini Express bus route. Great air con, good wifi, blackout shutters on the windows and funky multicolour lighting if you want to set the mood in your room. Flatscreen TV and minibar as well. Good deluge showerhead in the bathroom too and very comfortable mattress.

Lovely converted apartment hotel

The Black & White G&G is a little hard to find (we walked right past it twice, although not helped by the fact it was dark!), and would perhaps benefit from a bigger sign outside, if possible. That's the only negative point I can make, the rest of the stay was great; staff were friendly and helpful (even sorted us with a lift to the airport at 4am on a Sunday!), the room was clean, tidy, and looked great, the bathroom was nice and clean, and breakfast each morning was lovely (the freshly made coffee was fantastic!). The area is lively with restaurants and bars, but the hotel isn't so close that you're disturbed by it. I'd highly recommend the Black & White G&G for anyone having a city break, it's in a great location and is a lovely place!
