The house worked well for us. Clean, comfortable and convenient to where we wanted to stay - near University of Rochester/Strong Hospital and 12 corners in Brighton. Would stay again.
The house was a perfect size and was very well maintained. It was lovely to relax and enjoy conversations with our friends in a house instead of a hotel room inbetween all the weekend's activities.
We had a very comfortable stay at this home. It was spotless on arrival and pictures from the website were very accurate. There was plenty of room for our adult children and us to have privacy, but also a nice common space for hanging out. Kitchen was very well stocked. Would definitely recommend this listing.
We spent Christmas here, and celebrated with family. This property was well stocked with extras, lots of kitchenware, Keurig, regular coffee pot, spices, serving dishes, baby high chairs, baby bath, downstairs bedroom with 1/2 bath. Owner was extremely responsive with property questions.
Great location. Older ranch home. Cozy. Kitchen well equipped. Towels soft. Main bedroom bed amazing. Beds comfortable. Creeks like an older home. But beautiful. Towel rod was broken was not an issue. Owner very nice.
We really enjoyed staying here! Can't believe how wonderful we all slept! I don't sleep that well in my own bed and after 12 hours traveling to Rochester from NC, rest was so needed and we all got it there!
The only things that need improving is the grass looked like it hadn't been cut in a very long time and the house did not have TP for refills. I had to run out and purchase more TP since we're down to one roll available.
Thank you
Plenty of space in the house. We brought our bikes so having access to the garage was really nice. First floor laundry with detergent available for use was nice! We were never able to find any dish towels to dry dishes, but dishwasher worked great. Only thing I would caution about- there is an active bee or wasp nest outside the back corner of the garage. With the kids playing, made us a little nervous. But, the yard is wide open which was great!
The place was really clean, had comfortable beds, and is spacious. We were in Rochester for a family gathering, it was 10-15 minutes to everything we needed. Great kitchen space and living room.
We had a nice time in Brighton. Kitchen was well stocked, and coffee available. The bedrooms were nice. The area is nice. There are fun things for younger kids to play with if your family is younger.
House is wonderfully put together. Every room was immaculate. The host was easy to contact and quick to respond. Spacious everything..kitchen dining room etc. Would definitely recommend.
The VRBO worked for our needs. We were not there much during the day or evening.!! The beds were super comfortable and the linens clean. The kitchen was well stocked.?? A kitchen window was ajar and would not close all the way. I was unable to lock it. I notified the owner, but never received a reply. The window blinds and curtains could use a refresh.
We needed a place to stay when we were meeting our son in Rochester (Brighton). He and his wife were attending a conference and we were going to babysit the kids (ages 6 and 3).This house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Three bedrooms upstairs for them and one downstairs for us. I would say the only negative was that the downstairs only had a half bath, so we had to go upstairs to shower. Might be something to consider if anyone in your party is unable to navigate stairs.Garage parking was a plus, especially in the rain, and the location was central to everything we needed.
