"The property is updated and well maintained. There was a storm the night we were staying and the power went out. I feel like the hotel staff did what they could to still make the stay comfortable, so I didn't lower the rating based on something they didn't have control over."
"Great room in a unique boutique hotel with a fascinating history. Breakfast was nothing special but a notch above average. Room had a couple minor issues with shower door. The handles were loose and the glass had moved slightly in the top hinge, preventing the for from closing completely. Both of these could be fixed with simple tools (Phillips screwdriver and a hex wrench). Hotel needs to pay attention to these details to maintain a reputation as a top notch facility."
