"Room was large with very big windows overlooking trees. Clean room but with some corrosion on bathroom windows. Limited menu in pub while I thought the dining room menu could have been offered. I was not impressed with the very limited breakfast items on buffet."

"This motel consists of small cottages. Most are overlooking the ocean across the street which is very relaxing and beautiful scenery. The cottages are well maintained and clean. They are fully self contained and high is nice as you can make your own meals. A Freshmart is conveniently located nearby. The owner was extremely accommodating….due to a bad storm that hit Cape Breton, we arrived a couple hours before check in time. No one was there but the owner was called in and she let us check in no problem."

"My son and I had an excellent stay at The Spruces. Very convenient location in Ingonish- close to many restaurants and attractions. We used it as a base to explore the east side of the Cabot Trail. The pod was super comfortable with all the amenities we needed nearby. Will definitely be returning in the future!"
