Radcliffe on Trent Vacation Packages

This hotel just needs a little tlc to make it great. The rooms are a little tired. The staff work hard and are nice which makes up for it, but the rooms let them down.

We travelled very far and when we arrived it was early for check-in however, although check-in was at 3pm we were told our room was not ready still and had to wait. The shower in the room wasn't working which no one told us about when we tried to change rooms this was not possible and we were told there is a bath to use this. The bath had no shower attachment making it very difficult to use and with 4 of us sharing this made washing very long. We were very disappointed that despite all these issues there was no gesture of goodwill.

Great location. Basic hotel but it had everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Would consider staying here again in the future.

We were given a room on the second floor and the lifts were out of service for most of our stay which was very difficult. That coloured our view of the whole experience. The restaurant was okay but we wouldn't eat there again by choice.
