Hotel Montemare

"We've stayed at a lot of hotels, but Hotel Montemare is in a league of its own. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, the staff made us feel genuinely cared for. The service was the best we've ever experienced. It's the little touches that made it unforgettable: coming back each evening to find a bottle of champagne chilling in our fridge, and ending our days in the hot tub watching the sun go down over the ocean. Thank you to the whole team for making our time in Positano so special. We'll be back. 🇮🇹"

"Parking is non existent on site. Tgey have somebody pick up your vehicle and tgey charge 50 euros per night for parking. Location is great and staff is superb. I would highly recommend this place."

"Absolutely amazing service and staff! Easily the nicest and most helpful staff we have had so far. The cleaning services are amazing, they even cleaned our room in the time it took us to eat dinner, and we didn’t ask which was such a great surprise the first night! The view from the balcony’s is one of the best as well. 10/10 would stay again!! ~ Andrew D’Alto"

"Hotel room was beautiful and very clean. Beds super comfortable. Brought extension cord because wasn’t an outlet next to bed for cpap machine. Staff wonderful and helpful coordinating bag transport to ferry. It was a really nice hotel with nice breakfast and close location to several super nice restaurants, including El Capitano and il fornillo (just down the street to right (make reservations for best views). il fornillo was much less expensive and family run. Best experience and food. Both great."

"I travel a lot, and I can honestly say that the staff at this hotel—from the front office to the kitchen and every server—were absolutely phenomenal\. Everyone was kind, helpful, welcoming, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and cared for\. Whenever we had a question or needed assistance, they took the time to find the answer and help us in every way they could\. Their hospitality truly made our stay special\. The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable, exceptionally clean, and in a very convenient location\. If I could give this hotel six stars, I absolutely would\! Thank you to the entire team for making our stay such a wonderful experience\. ❤️"

"Incredible, one of a kind stay at the Poseidon! Not only is the hotel property itself amazing (pool, restaurant, bar, secret bar, balcony rooms, stunning views) AND the staff are the most helpful (booked dinner reservations, booked a hair appointment for my wife, predict all your needs), BUT ALSO the location might be the best in Positano. It is right on the main (only) road going down towards the beach so you have an easy, gradual walk past all the main shopping as well as right next to the main stairs for a fast-track to the beach. We will stay here everytime we go to Positano! Grazie mille!"
