In the village itself there are not many services - no proper restaurants outside of the hotel and only a little shop in the center. An older style property but style very much in keeping with the local area. Clean and tidy throughout and bar/restaurant appears popular with locals.
Staff were friendly and accomodating.
The hotel restaurant is closed on a Wednesday evening however there are a number of local restaurants nearby and staff were happy to provide directions and recommendations.
Breakfast was traditional and plenty of options for even my fussy teenager.
